Consultation on the proposed amendments to the Gene Technology Regulations 2001
Consultation on proposed amendments to the Gene Technology Regulations 2001 (GT Regulations) is now open.
You are invited to provide feedback on the consultation paper: Gene Technology Amendment Regulations which will inform proposed amendments to the Regulations as part of the important legislative reforms underway. Amendments to the GT Regulations are the next step in implementing the recommendations from of the Third Review of the National Gene Technology Scheme (Scheme) through legislative reforms. The proposed amendments will ensure the Scheme maintains flexibility to deal with future developments and challenges.
