Extensive consultations have helped inform the implementation of recommendations arising from the third review of the National Gene Technology. Find out more about these consultations.

There have been a number of consultations held as part of the 2017 review of the scheme and its subsequent implementation:

  • initial review consultation phases – submissions for phase 3 closed on 24 May 2018
  • implementation issues paper – submissions closed on 4 December 2019
  • consultation regulation impact statement – submissions closed on 17 March 2021.
